BigstockThe arrested has been identified as Sree Ram Chandra DasPolice on Friday arrested a man on the allegations of hurting religious sentiment from Ramnewaz Bazar area of Monpura upazila in Bhola. The arrested, identified as Sree Ram Chandra Das is the son of Dulal Chandra Das from Chouhomoni area of the upazila, said Monpura police station officer in charge Shakhawat Hossain. According to the police, Ram Chandra wrote derogatory words about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Bibi Ayesha Siddiqua (RA) on his Facebook account on Thursday. After the incident, police arrested Ram Chandra to bring the situation under control. Speaking on the matter, Monpura police station officer in charge Shakhawat Hossain said: "Police will file a case against the arrested Ram Chandra."
