The accused Firoz Al Mamun was arrested under the Digital Security Act. Police produced him before a court and sought a seven-day remand, confirmed Harirampur police station OC Muid Choudhury. Acting on a tipoff, a police team arrested Firoz from his residence in Kaloi area. Azim Khan, vice-chairman of Harirampur upazila council, filed the case under the Digital Security Act with Harirampur police station on May 9.
