The man who appears to be in his twenties had showed up at the La-Nkwantanang Madina office of the Electoral Commission to register but when his fingerprints were captured, the biometric device detected he had already registered. Such persons were directed to visit any of the Commission’s district offices closer to them to register. Selorm reported that more than 200 people thronged the EC’s office at La-Nkwantanang Madina Friday morning to register to vote but complained of the slow pace of the process causing delays. “They lament the process is slow as those who got to the EC’s office before 6:00am are yet to complete the process,” our correspondent reported at 12:30pm.
