more-inThe Malur police have arrested a man for posting a picture on his Facebook account allegedly hurting national sentiments, on Friday. The police gave the name of the arrested as Sadiq Shaikh (22), who is a mechanic at a garage in Malur, Kolar district. They said Sadiq allegedly put a picture of falcon, painted in the colour of the Pakistani flag, killing a dove in tricolour representing India, purportedly to indicate Pakistan attacking India. Bsaed on a complaint filed by Manoj, a resident, the police have registered cases under sections 153 A and B of the Indian Penal Code on Thursday.
