A man has been arrested following an incident which saw a car hit a gas main in Diss yesterday. Officers from Norfolk Police were called just after 4pm to reports a car had struck a house and damaged a gas meter in Willbye Avenue. Officers and fire crews from Diss and Harleston attended the incident, and found the driver had left but a damaged car was found nearby. Fire crews and Norfolk Police were called to the incident in Willbye Avenue, Diss. One man suffered a minor injury during the incident which did not require hospital treatment.
