One person injured and another is in custody following a shooting in Feilding. A man has been shot and another arrested following an early morning incident in Feilding. Ambulance officers who attended the scene at an address is Feilding told police that a person had been shot around 1.25am on Sunday morning. Armed police arrested a 27-year-old man in the Palmerston North suburb of Roslyn around midday on Sunday in relation to the incident. The man has been charged with wounding with intent and is due to appear in Palmerston North District Court on Monday.
