The man was arrested following a vehicle stop on Webb St in Te Aro on Tuesday afternoon. Men believed to be Nomads and Killer Beez gang members have been found carrying a firearm and cannabis in Wellington’s central city. The rifle was located by police officers conducting a vehicle stop on Webb St in Te Aro about 1.20pm. One person has been arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possessing an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis. Stuff understands the man arrested is a Nomads member and another in the vehicle is a Killer Beez member.
