A man has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat investigation in downtown Toronto Tuesday evening. Police responded shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday to Bloor Street East, between Sherbourne St. and Mount Pleasant Rd. Officers detonated a suspicious suitcase in a controlled explosion that residents said had buildings shaking. The Explosives Disposal Unit, Toronto Fire and paramedics were on scene. The TTC detoured the 75 Sherbourne bus through Isabella Street, Jarvis Street and Wellesley Street.
