Police arrested a 35-year-old man after an assault in New Plymouth on Saturday night. (file photo)A man will appear in the New Plymouth District Court on Monday after he's alleged to have attacked another person on Saturday night. Police were called to Ocean View Parade about 10.26pm after an assault was reported, a spokeswoman said. The victim was taken to Taranaki Base Hospital where they remain in a stable condition. The 35-year-old was charged with assault with intent to injure and common assault.
