Detectives have arrested two people after a man was mowed down by a car in a targeted attack before being seriously assaulted. Officers at Mayorstone Garda Station are investigating the incident which happened last Wednesday, March 18 at around 1.30pm. The man remains in custody this evening while the woman has since been released without charge. “The row centres around a personal dispute, the injured man and those arrested are all known to each other,” the source added. A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, were arrested at one of the houses.
