Man alleges he bit into Lindt chocolate bar, found 'disgusting' live worms

Loblaws is apologizing after a customer says he bit into a chocolate bar teeming with live worms, allegedly purchased from one of the grocery chain's locations in Mississauga. Dinuka Seneviratne told CBC News he was horrified after he took a bite of a Lindt chocolate bar that he says his mother bought from a Loblaws on Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga on Friday. And then I saw all these worms coming out of the chocolate," Seneviratne said. A spokesperson for Lindt told CBC News the company pays "great attention" to its production and distribution process. I don't know what kind of quality controls you guys have to have worms coming out of your chocolate."
