The incident involved a red Suzuki Swift and took place around 8.50am. One man was airlifted to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, with injuries described as being serious, but not life-threatening. Road Policing officers in the Scottish Borders are now appealing for information and witnesses. “Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene, where firefighters worked alongside emergency service partners to make the area safe. "One casualty was transported to hospital by Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left the scene at 9.38am."
