Man accused of breaching Leinster House security is granted bail

A Co Clare welder accused of breaching Leinster House security has been granted bail after agreeing to stay away from Government buildings and all anti-lockdown protests. Mr O’Flaherty has not yet indicated how he will plead and could face additional charges. Garda Tully said the accused “breached the barrier at Dáil Éireann, actively resisted arrest and used abusive language”. Judge Malone heard Mr O’Flaherty was by himself at the time of the incident. Mr O’Flaherty was ordered to appear again on April 16th next.
