A 20-year-old woman from Gournadi upazila in Barisal has accused her brother-in-law and one of his friends of secretly making a nude recording of her and spreading it on Facebook. The victim filed the case with Gournadi police station on Friday, alleging that her brother-in-law, 28, secretly made the recordings using a mobile phone any time between August 18 and October 10 last year. According to the case statement, the brother-in-law and his accomplice showed the video to the victim and tried to blackmail her into giving them some money. After refusing to be extorted, the woman moved to her father’s house in Babuganj to avoid harassment. Gournadi police station Officer-in-Charge Afzal Hossain on Saturday said they had already arrested the duo and confiscated two mobile phones containing the nude video.
