The European footballing body announced the decision on Tuesday to postpone the summer tournament until 2021, given the widespread outbreak of coronavirus. All professional levels of football in England have also been suspended until at least April 3, with Premier League clubs set to convene on Thursday to discuss a plan of action. UEFA failed to confirm when the next round of European fixtures will be staged, as they decided to put the Champions League and Europa League on hold indefinitely.
