Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has urged the Red Devils to pursue a move for Paris Saint-Germain skipper Marquinhos as a matter of priority in the summer transfer window. However, Ferdinand has suggested that his former employers should abandon their pursuit of the Frenchman and beat Chelsea to the signature of Marquinhos instead. Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel worked with Marquinhos during his time in charge of the French heavyweights, and is said to be a keen admirer of his former player.
