Manchester United will no longer be looking to sign a left-back this January, because of the emergence of Brandon Williams. That’s according to ESPN , who believe the young defender has changed the minds of the United hierarchy. Before his emergence onto the scene, the Manchester United board were adamant that they need to bring in another left-back to provide competition for Luke Shaw and Ashley Young. The club are set to let Ashley Young depart the club on the expiry of his contract next summer, which means they may then need to bring in another body.
