Martial has reportedly told Manchester United he wants to quit this summer. The Frenchman has failed to nail down a starting spot at the club since Mourinho was appointed manager back in 2016. Martial left United’s pre-season tour of the USA last week to attend the birth of his son but has yet to return, which has annoyed Mourinho. And Pires reckons it could be time the 22-year-old and United went their separate ways.
