Kane, 27, has intimated he wants to leave Tottenham this summer and will discuss his future with chairman Daniel Levy during the off-season. The Daily Mail therefore claim United will abandon their interest in Kane and will instead try to sign Haaland in 2022. The Norwegian, 20, finished this season as the Champions League’s top scorer and is valued at around £130m by Dortmund. The United boss gave Haaland his first team debut at Molde at the age of 16 and the pair remain in close contact.
