Manchester United are unlikely to sign Neymar this summer because of Cristiano Ronaldo , reports say. The Paris Saint-Germain star has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent times, with Erik ten Hag refusing to rule out a transfer. Manchester United expected Ronaldo to be the ticket to Premier League and Champions League glory when they re-signed the veteran back in 2021. But while he netted a fine 27 goals during his second spell at Old Trafford, the 38-year-old still failed to live up to expectations. Yet ESPN Deportes say the chances of Neymar moving to the club are ‘slim’, with Ronaldo cited as a reason why.
