Manchester United have admired Real Madrid star Varane ever since his time as a raw centre-back at Lens. The France international was wanted by former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson in 2011 but, on that occasion, Madrid won the race for his signature. Talk of a move away for the defender is gathering pace, however, with Varane refusing to shut down the rumours. "I do not want to talk about my future,” the World Cup winner said recently.
