Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to put his Manchester United players through a gruelling pre-season camp ahead of the upcoming campaign. The boot camp programme has been drawn up by the Dutchman and staff in the hope of improving the fitness levels in the camp so that his squad can push for the Premier League title. However, being title contenders is the minimum that the Dutchman expects from his squad heading into next season. The Red Devils boss has constructed a gruelling week of fitness drills and ordered Carrington staff to prepare for the programme, which will kickstart in early July. The United squad are set to be put through their paces for four days with double sessions that will put improve their stamina, whilst also challenging the players mentally so that they are in the correct headspace.
