Manchester United midfielder Fred must iron out any problems he has with the players he spoke about in his recent comments about the Red Devils, says former MLS star Alejandro Moreno. Last week, Fred claimed not every player in the United squad were following the same objectives and said “one player just wants to play well or another to score a goal himself”. United are currently eighth in the Premier League table, six points adrift of the Champions League qualification places. Moreno has questioned why Brazil international Fred has come out with these comments about his own team-mates. But Moreno also does not think this is the main reason for United’s struggles on the pitch this season.
