Manchester United are preparing to make another move to sign Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen in the January window despite seeing their previous attempt to sign the midfielder fail. As a result it appears Eriksen’s exit from Tottenham is now a matter of when rather than if. Spurs have the option of either selling the player in the January transfer window or alternatively seeing the player run down his contract and leave on a free in the summer.
