The Red Devils want to secure a £70million summer transfer for the full-back and have begun laying down the foundations to complete the deal. Chelsea are credited with an interest in Sandro and have reportedly failed in several bids to sign the Brazilian. Past suitors have balked at Juventus’ asking price, but United are happy to spend big to secure Jose Mourinho’s signings. Mourinho does not yet trust Luke Shaw to take over at left-back and wants Sandro to help mentor the 22-year-old.
