The defender was initially blocked from travelling to Uruguay for Tuesday’s game (Picture: Getty)Brazil have confirmed that Manchester United left-back Alex Telles has tested negative for coronavirus and has been cleared to play against Uruguay on Tuesday evening. Reports emerged over the weekend claimed Telles had tested positive for Covid-19 a second time and would miss his country’s World Cup qualifier in Montevideo. The 27-year-old had already tested positive – and subsequently recovered – from coronavirus at the start of the month, missing several games for United while he self-isolated. The new diagnosis means the summer signing from Porto is also clear to play against West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday night.
