Manchester United hero Edwin van der Sar has revealed how many signings boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to make in the summer transfer window to compete with Liverpool in the Premier League next season. The former United goalkeeper knows what it takes to win, having helped the Red Devils lift numerous trophies during his seven years at the club, including four Premier League titles and the Champions League. And Van der Sar, who is Ajax's chief executive, believes Solskjaer can make United a title-challenging squad with just two or three more signings in the next transfer window. Van der Sar admitted it was great to see Solskjaer, his former team-mate, make a great start to his United managerial career after replacing Jose Mourinho in December 2018.
