Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Fernandes, who flourished for Sporting Lisbon this season by scoring 31 goals across all competitions. The Red Devils are not alone in eyeing the Portugal international though as Premier League rivals Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City have also been linked. Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs at least one midfielder this summer after seeing the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera depart.
