Following Manchester United’s lacklustre start to their new campaign which has seen them take just two victories from their opening four games, Rashford has struggled to secure regular playing time under Jose Mourinho. The striker started on the bench in their win over Burnley last weekend, however, his appearance was short-lived as he was given his marching orders by referee Jon Moss just 10 minutes after coming onto the field. The 20-year-old squared up to Clarets man Phil Bardsley and was given a straight red after shunting his head towards the defender. Rashford later apologised for his behaviour saying: "Emotions got the better of me, I shouldn’t of reacted like that. Sorry to everyone at the club and all the fans."
