Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is more reluctant to do deals in the January transfer window due to the signing of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean joined from Arsenal in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but flopped at Old Trafford despite his extortionate wage packet. The Athletic have now reported that Woodward remains apprehensive over rushing into deals midway through the season, which could see United go through January without spending any money.
