Manchester United manager Solskjaer has told Woodward the squad he has inherited from Jose Mourinho is in dire need of bolstering this transfer window. The Red Devils go into the summer on the back of one of their worst seasons in recent memory. Manchester United started sluggishly under Mourinho before the 56-year-old was axed back in December with the club struggling in the Premier League. Solskjaer then came in and won 14 of his first 17 matches, securing the manager’s job on a permanent basis in the process.
