Manchester United and Manchester City would “love” to sign Jonny Evans, according to Graeme Souness. Evans has been very impressive this season with Leicester and Souness advised United and City to keep an eye on the defender ahead of the January transfer window as he would be a welcome addition to their backline. Three years later the Northern Ireland international signed with Leicester and Souness is so impressed with his performances that he described him as a “revelation”. The Liverpool legend considers the 31-year-old an important part of the Foxes’ impressive campaign in the Premier League. Brendan Rodgers’ side is second in the table with 10 points adrift from first place, which is occupied by the undefeated Liverpool.
