Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the centre-half, who has just completed his first full season with Leverkusen after signing for them in January 2020. Tapsoba is more keen on a move to United or Chelsea, although the two clubs may not make a formal bid until next summer. When quizzed on Arsenal’s reported interest in Burkina Faso international Tapsoba, Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes insisted he is set to stay at the Bundesliga club.
