Erik ten Hag is on the brink of signing a new contract that will see him remain at Manchester United until 2027. The Dutch manager has managed to turn his fortunes around, moving from the brink of the sack to securing a two-year contract extension worth nearly £30million. Ten Hag, who was given the go-ahead to continue as United's boss earlier this month, has in principle agreed to the new deal after discussions with club executives. It is understood that United and Ten Hag's representatives are finalising the terms of the new contract, which is expected to be confirmed this week. The contract will contain clauses related to both his and the team's performance.
