Manchester United have been looking at a potential return for Cristiano Ronaldo since April, according to reports. And a potential return to Old Trafford is now looking increasingly likely as the transfer window creeps closer. Signed as David Beckham’s replacement back in the summer transfer window of 2003, the Portugal international won nine trophies during a glittering spell at Old Trafford. Amongst them was the Premier League title, which he scooped on three separate occasions, as well as the Champions League in 2008. Ronaldo won the lot at Real Madrid and, while he’s failed to lift the Champions League at Juventus, he’s still been a hit nonetheless.
