Thousands of fans descended on the stadium ahead of kick-off to vent their feelings against the Glazers over their attempt to join the European Super League and managed to evade security to make their way inside Old Trafford. There have also been suggestions that the Old Trafford biosecure bubble has been put in jeopardy, with United staff trying to establish if they can still guarantee the safety of players.
