Manchester United and Tottenham are both eyeing up a move for Lille forward Jonathan David this summer, according to reports. David, who has just one year left on his contract in Ligue 1, is available for transfer and United and Spurs are among the clubs monitoring his situation. Since moving to Lille from Belgian side Gent, David has scored 84 goals in total. 'We have two players who have an exit voucher with Leny [Yoro] and Jonathan [David],' Letang said in an interview this week. Also looking to recruit at least one new defender, United saw a £43m bid for Everton centre back Jarrad Branthwaite rejected.
