That is according to former City star Micah Richards, who believes Van Dijk’s move to Liverpool in 2018 is the finest January signing of all time. The Netherlands international established himself as one of the best players in the world and was last year’s Ballon d’Or runner-up. City’s backline, however, has struggled this season after losing longtime captain Vincent Kompany as they have conceded a whopping 27 goals in 24 Premier League matches.
