GEORGE TOWN: A 74-year-old man suffered head injuries and fractured his right ribs after falling from the ninth floor of a flat in Bayan Lepas. “A man was found to have landed at the awning on the sixth floor after jumping off the ninth floor. “The operation was aided by the police and St John Ambulance. “The victim was successfully rescued but he suffered head injuries and fractures to the right ribs. “The victim was handed over to the St John Ambulance team and was then taken to Penang Hospital for further treatment.
