A 46-year-old man has died overnight following an assault in Kilkenny. The victim was discovered with serious injuries at a property in High Hayes Terrace in the city at around 4am yesterday. A 33-year-old man was arrested near the scene on suspicion of assault causing harm. The scene has been sealed-off for a technical examination and gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
