A man stabbed to death on the street in south Co Dublin has been named locally as 31-year-old married father Derek Reddin. Garda believe Reddin and a friend he was with knew the two men who attacked them and that there was bad feeling between them. Gardaí attend the scene of a fatal stabbing in Loughlinstown, Co Dublin on Tuesday morning at the junction of Loughlinstown Drive and Cherry Court shortly after midnight. Reddin worked as a volunteer for the group You’re Not Alone, which assists people sleeping on the streets of Dublin.
