A man has died after getting into difficulty while kite surfing this morning. Shortly after 9am, gardaí were alerted to an incident at Dollymount Strand. A kite surfer, aged in his 30s, had gotten into trouble in the water. He was removed from the water and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to the Mater Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place at a later date.
