Man, 30s, dies after car found in Cork's River Bride


A man, aged in his 30s, has died after his car was discovered in the River Bride near the Conna Road in Co Cork. The man was believed to be on his way to meet friends when the incident occurred between Conna and Aghern, on the R628 between Rathcormac and Tallow. The road between Conna and the former Big Tree pub in Aghern is closed for a forensic collision investigation. It is understood that gardaí believe the car may have been in the water for several hours before being discovered before 10am on Saturday morning.
