26-year-old Robert Kioko committed suicide in Athi River, Machakos County on Saturday. According to the police, Kioko reportedly took his own life inside his house at Slota slum in Athi River, on Saturday. The incident was reported to Athi River police station by Makadara assistant chief Martin Ngomo as a suspected suicide incident. Police said the deceased had no physical injuries and no suicide note was found at the scene when they picked the body. The deceased’s father, a local trader in Athi River town said Robert was the first born out of his four children.
