Mr. Majumdar termed Ms. Banerjee’s visit to the Supreme Court and the ECI part of a “scripted drama” and called her submissions in the court a “complete political speech”. “The West Bengal government did not provide sufficient qualified officers... That is why the micro observers were appointed,” he said.
