MANILA, Philippines — All Ayala Malls in Metro Manila will be temporarily closed starting Monday in line with the imposition of a community quarantine in the capital region due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. In a Facebook post, the mall operator said its establishments offering basic services such as supermarkets, drugstores and convenience stores will remain open. ADVERTISEMENTThe company’s malls in Metro Manila include Alabang Town Center, Glorietta, Greenbelt, U.P. Town Center, Ayala Malls The 30th and Ayala Malls Vertis North. As of posting time, the Philippines has 140 COVID-19 cases, 11 of whom died while five have recovered.
