Malkia Strikers have crashed out of the FIVB World Championships following their 3-1 loss to Puerto Rico at the Gelredome arena in Arnhem, Netherlands on Saturday. The Kenya women's volleyball team needed a win of any margin in their final Pool A match to progress to the next stage. They, however, bowed out after falling to Puerto Rico in sets of 15-25, 25-19, 18-25 and 20-25. Malkia's campaign got off to a flying start on Sunday with an emphatic 3-0 win over Cameroon. The win took Puerto Rico's tally to six points, effectively sealing them the final slot in the group.
