EFF leader Julius Malema's latest hate speech trial came within a whisker of an application for the recusal of Equality Court Judge Mark Sher, who is presiding over the matter sitting in the Western Cape High Court. Malema's counsel, Mfesane Ka-Siboto, said he felt Sher was showing signs of bias towards advocate Anwar Albertus SC, counsel for the applicant, Dante van Wyk and was berating him.
