A male was shot to death at a post-prom party at a rural residence in York Region on Friday morning. Only the person who had rented the home for the night remained at the scene to speak with officers. Investigators think there may have been hundreds of people at the party in the hours before the shooting, according to Pattenden. There is no place on Airbnb for such an abhorrent act, which violates everything our Canadian community stands for. Anyone with information about the shooting or the party is asked to contact York police.
