A male is dead after a shooting at a residence in Whitchurch-Stouffville overnight Friday, York Region police say. Shortly after 4 a.m., police say they received a call about a shooting in the area of Bloomington Rd. and Ninth Line, just east of Hwy. They found him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
